and yet we love them anyway. Case in point: CS is watching The Price is Right and ordering a whole box of MREs. And referring to MREs as yummy food. This is when nodding and smiling and “yes sweetie” come in useful. 
Slow week, just been tired and mostly reading after work. And a tiny bit of cleaning. I get to go crazy cooking & cleaning tomorrow and I’m getting my hair cut in the morning. Yikes!
MREs -are- yummy. Especially the Jambalaya. And who doesn’t love Kool-Aid? Or the vanilla milkshake? Or the M&Ms. Ooh, ooh, and the beef jerky… mmm… jerky. I’m also quite fond of the Country Captain Chicken and the Beef with Mushrooms. Chicken with noodles is okay, but only while hot.
