Bunny’s TMI

How much a visit to mom can help. I drove up to see her to celebrate mother’s day (she went on a camping trip the actually weekend of) and we went to play miniature golf and then had “dunch” at fresh choice. I was wiped by the time we got back and ended up getting a three hour nap in and some of the best sleep I’ve had all week. I’m feeling a lot better and more optimistic now. She also cut my hair for me thankfully. I missed my april hair appointment, couldn’t get another till June 3, realized I work that day due to memorial day… and had to reschedule again to July 1! And my hair was driving me nuts. And now it’s time for chores!

Ok, so someone suggested the other day that I shouldn’t be telling guys what I want… they should have to figure it out. So I had the thought that maybe my problem was I was making it too easy for them to pretend to be what I wanted? But pretense can really only last so long. But I thought communication and honesty were good, although it seems like in my last few relationships, I was communicating… and they weren’t. But how are you supposed to know that? If they’re not telling you stuff, how do you know they aren’t? Maybe I’d be better off as that crazy cat lady, at least I understand them.

Bah, guess I need to listen to my own advice and be patient…. but that was never one of my strong suits. Easier to give up and try to accept & enjoy the life I have now as is, and not worry about the whole marriage-family thing anymore. I’ll just try to be the best kitty mom I can instead.

And sigh… played settlers twice yesterday, and the two new players won! And I thought I’d actually get to win again, heh.

On the bright side:
Times like this are when I’m so glad to have the amazing group of friends that I do. I may suck at chosing boyfriends, but at least I pick awesome friends. I love you all! *HUG*

I’m also glad that as much as I really liked all his friends, I never became too attached to any of them, so at least I don’t have to lose anyone I considered my friend.

And as always, better for things to end now than even later.

Since my original purpose in blogging was to keep all my friends and family informed, I guess this is appropriate.
