I love the cool sweetness of the air, with that gentle dampness hinting of rain to come, and the soft silver dome of clouds overhead filtering the light.

Things I love about biking to and from work.

Wind on my skin.
Outdoor air’s damp soft pressure as I’m unlocking my bike.
Birds chirpping and leaves rustling.
A tree squirrel with a mouth full of acorn and his tail doing its jittery dance.
Ground squirrels poking out of their burrows or sailing across the field, bounding so fast they don’t seem to touch the earth.
The little brown bunny with its white fluffy tail.
Lizard’s slithering dart from the path to hide in the bushes.
Ducks quacking and fluttering.
Air scented by groves of eucalyptus and redwood trees.
Splashing fountains and quaint bridges.
Colorful flowers on late blooming plants.
Leaves and acorn caps creating a symphony of snaps, crackles, pops and crunches under the wheels.

Which means lovely ornaments for me to covet. Crate and Barrel has some good ones.
The felt garland, star bowl (that I would use year round),
 - tree tablecloth (another one for year round - too much brown/gold though),
 - sparklie/shiny placemat & napkin (why is this stuff holiday? It would look great anytime!),
 - mini cookie cutters for decorating pies,
 - star mirror coasters (these would be great for displaying some of my collectibles),
 - mini beaded pinecones to match the big one I have,
 this glittery spiral is eye catching,
 a dainty snowflake garland, and pretty enameled stars!

I adore how these reconstructed jean skirts look! I want a pair of tree and wings!

I might buy some sisal rugs for the kitties to enjoy.

This furniture really caught my eye.
 I like the zatana’s combo seating/table.
 And I’ve always liked the modular seating idea like the dakota so I can rearrange my place to my heart’s content.
 The henri is a similar idea.

 Fire is always pretty. Another fireplace alternative.

I love Tord Boontje’s work!! And he’s now at target! Sadly most of his stuff is in the wrong colors for me.
 Though this holiday set is really tempting. I need blues and silvers! Not reds and golds.

 - Blueberry beanbag (CUTE!) that I would never risk getting since devil kitty might mistake it for a litter box like the last beanbag I had.
 - Plates for fussy eaters. Not that I’m one. What? Why are you looking at me like that? I’m not that bad! Usually…. sorta….

I’m going to be good this year and NOT buy any new ornaments. I’m still gonna drool though.
 Like over this silver dipped maple leaf.
 And this dainty snow flower garland.

And I’m not really a shoe girl, but lordy these are sexy purple shoes!!
 - Oriental inspired wave and cloud bedding. I must have this once my house sells.

 I like these cute orlando cargo pants & cargo shorts. Maybe once I’m back down to 130 lbs and my house is sold.

 These adorable shoes would go perfect with the butterfly top and silk with silver coin pants that I’m eyeing at Evangeline’s that would make an awesome costume. Maybe next year.

 If I can’t find my hat (I SWEAR I left it at Meow’s house) I might get this weatherly watch cap to replace it. (Edit Dec 15, 2006 - found a pink one at Target to replace my hat.)

 - Snowflake wall stickers look fun.

 I don’t think this illusion table would work with my style, but it sure does look spiffy!

 I think I might give in someday and get the kitty cocoon, it just looks so great!

 Meow and TM would like these wood shelves.

And I would LOVE these swirl glasses with the marblized look if I could just order one color.

 This bedding is pretty too.
Cute penguin that eats the fuzz off your sweaters, not that I have many sweaters. And I have too much fun pulling off the fuzz myself. But it’s cute! And penguiny!
Funny looking cotton swab holder, now why can’t I find a nice plain sleek silver version of this? The cats like to play with them so they need protection, but I like having easy access too.

I love Eva Solo’s stuff.
Who knew a garlic press could be sleek and sexy?
 Or a set of spoons elegant? And of course we know I love magnets!
 Like her magnet timer.
 And this versatile knife rack makes me drool. Somewhere stylish to put my lovely Trident knives!
 I’m supposed to be cutting back on bread, but bread dipped in oil and vinegar poured from Eva Solo’s carafe would be SO yummy.

Along with the workbook my therapist wanted me to get and The Last Unicorn dvd.

Meow helped me finish putting up my dvd shelves yesterday, so tonight I should do some unpacking.

I’m having to count calories for my therapist cause she thinks part of my tiredness isn’t depression/med stuff, it might be lack of calories. And I guess since I’m trying to lose weight it doesn’t hurt either. I’m down to 160ish, so only 30lbs to go.

I realized last night why I haven’t taken dance classes in ages, it’s depressing going alone & single. I’d rather just go out dancing, that’s just fun, too loud and busy to worry about not having someone to talk to, and enough guys to never dance with the same one twice in a night. I’m going to finish out these classes, but I’m not sure if I’ll continue or not.

I really want to get into karaoke. I’m ok going alone usually, but I don’t want to my first time there to check it out.

Oh, and this is way cool: Mentos + Soda (also why you don’t want to drop artificial sugar into cups of soda)

But they actually pay $50 for garbage as art???
