Scurrying, skittering, slithering by
Fluttering, flittering, flying so high
I biked over to pick up my car from it’s smog check and then drove home and biked back to work. And the DMV let me register online now (it wouldn’t before when I didn’t have my smog done). One less thing to worry about getting done. 
It’s so gorgeous out! And the critters are starting to wake up and come out more. I realized I can probably bike home for lunch and back in plenty of time when I want to. And my asthma pills seems to be working great! My allergies also seem to be almost all gone too which is lovely.
I had a great weekend too. I spent time with my pirate saturday, found out the possible termites were just ants, got my safeway delivery that I’d only ordered the night before but still got the cheap four hour window (though they came at the end so I couldn’t get my car smogged, I did drop it off though so that made it easier). My pirate brought us mexican for lunch, and I actually managed to cook chicken breasts with pasta for dinner.
Sunday TC and I hit the gym (though we missed the pilates class due to daylight savings – darn time change!), then went home for lunch and got back together for shopping at KOHL’s. I showed her and AP(m) how to trim their new cat’s nails since he’s totally sweet and mellow. We used a 2 for 1 coupon and gift cards for some way cheap ColdStone yummies and then headed out. We had waaaaay too much fun and I actually found bras, a pair of jeans and a pair of sandals that I liked which is really hard (or impossible) usually. I got a super soft robe and slippers for cheap too, and a couple really cute necklaces & pairs of earrings. Yay for sales and additional discounts!
So I wasn’t terribly productive as far as chores, but I did have an awesome weekend. My neighbor who I let use one of my parking spots mowed and raked the leaves for me yesterday while I was shopping though, so my yard looks nicer.
