Growing up, a friend had a ton of these in their front yard. I’m not sure whose idea it was, but we found that if we plucked the flower, you could suck a tiny bit of sweet nectar out of the back of it. So everyone once in a while when a bunch of us had been playing outside at their place, their parents would come home to find all the flowers on their Vinca (we had no idea what the plant was) were suddenly missing.
