Went to the Obon festival in San Jose yesterday – it was fun but a lot smaller than I expected. We got to see the dancing though which is what I really wanted, though I was hoping for more Japanese street fair food. Also, JP was in the news about the festival and the same article mentioned this:

“one of only three Japantowns left in the United States. The other two are in San Francisco and Los Angeles.”

So sad there are only three, and two in the Bay Area!

Toy Story 3 was great (in 3D with dad & pirate), Monsters vs Aliens was cute (with mom & bro) and frozen Cioppino (TJ’s) is a BAD idea.
