My boss got his old laptop cleared off, so I now have a “new” laptop! Fun fun. I’m working on getting it set up today. I need to move it to my little travel luggage bag with wheels though, I think I tweaked my shoulder the other day carrying the computer in its bag to the car and then into the house. Oh, and did I mention there was a burned out RV on the causeway, and traffic was stopped on 80 somewhere back towards Dixon, I’m not sure how far. So instead we took 113 north where there was a huge fire earlier, but that was put out by the time we got there, just a few trucks left cleaning up. But then we missed the Main St. exit which you have to take to get to 5 south, so we had to turn around, then traffic on 5 south was really bad, so we finally switched to the carpool lane and took 99 south, still bad… and I finally got home just before 7pm. An hour later than usual! 2 hours to get home! UGH!
Today hasn’t been as busy for tech support stuff, just a glitch with the Publication lady’s computer that I couldn’t fix, so I passed it off to my boss, who said she could fix it from class. So now it’s just more web work today, assuming nothing else goes wrong. At least the long drive yesterday gave me more time to read my magazine. I just finished it when it was time for me to drive myself home. Oh and it looks like I might have to drive myself on Friday. Yuck! Oh well, I’ll survive, but I might be a bit moody that day….
