About SweetPea Studio's History

SweetPea Studio was started in California in 2002 while I was a student of Design at UC Davis.

The original purpose of SweetPea Studio was to create web sites that are visually pleasing, easy to navigate, accessible and based on valid html. Many sites today are slow to load, hard to navigate and based on code that does not follow W3C standards for HTML and accessibility. Anyone can design a web site. SweetPea Studio strives to design exceptionally functional, attractive and user friendly web sites.

SweetPea Studio also provides comprehensive design services that go beyond mere web site design and extend to complete branding. This includes print work, product design and packaging. Digital photography and photo editing for print or web use is also available.

The name SweetPea Studio was derived from the sweet pea flower which symbolizes the month of April.
